Pivitec Wins Ben Franklin’s Venture Idol Crowdfunding Event

MTS wishes to send Pivitec, LLC congratulations on winning Ben Franklin’s 2013 Venture Idol competition.  Pivitec is a Bethlehem based company that recently competed against 10 other companies in hopes for funding for their innovative product.

The company, which develops, manufactures and markets software for live professional audio productions, is hoping to do away with extensive cables and “big, ugly boxes” onstage with software and wireless mobile devices.  MTS Ventures assisted in the design of the hardware’s housing.  In its earliest iteration, the mixer was housed in a generic, off-the-shelf enclosure. “We wanted to add design appeal and reduce the cost,” says Pivitec president Tom Knesel. “That’s where Matt came in. He designed a custom extrusion, which looked great. And he also helped us with the sourcing and saved us money.”

You can read more on how MTS contributed to Pivitec’s success in our case study.
